Dr. Anand brings pioneering work in AI techniques for complex operational decision making across multiple sectors to Ä¢¹½tv's Data Sciences practice in Houston 

Ä¢¹½tv is pleased to announce that Vivek Anand, Ph.D., has joined the firm as a principal in our Data Sciences practice, based in the Houston office. Dr. Anand brings more than 20 years of experience delivering and scaling advanced analytics and AI solutions across the energy, manufacturing, life sciences, retail, and financial services sectors.

Dr. Anand joins Ä¢¹½tv from Deloitte, where he most recently served as Vice President of Data Science and Head of Technology. In these roles, he led multidisciplinary teams to build and operationalize enterprise-scale AI and GenAI solutions for Fortune 100 companies and scaled multimillion-dollar market offerings. He also spearheaded the development of cutting-edge innovations, including a GenAI-powered solution for optimizing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, an AI-powered data management platform, a cloud-native spatial computing platform, and a carbon commercialization solution that enables organizations to monetize emissions reductions. 

Earlier in his career, Dr. Anand held senior technical and leadership positions, where he led large-scale engineering and data science programs and commercialized more than 20 sensor technologies and software products. His work includes pioneering AI techniques for complex operational decision-making, advancing remote sensing, and data acquisition technologies, as well as enterprise master data management.

Dr. Anand earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and his Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and patents and has received numerous industry awards for innovation.

At Ä¢¹½tv, Dr. Anand will support clients in addressing complex technical, operational, and regulatory challenges that require advanced data analytics, AI-enabled modeling, and multidisciplinary engineering insight. His experience commercializing data-driven technologies and leading globally distributed technical teams will enhance Ä¢¹½tv's ability to deliver rigorous analyses and innovative solutions across industries.
