Ms. Guihur has over 10 years of regulatory experience with plant protection and other agricultural products, including extensive experience in the registration of fertilizer, soil and plant amendment, (bio)pesticide, and 25(b) minimum risk pesticide products in the various U.S. states. As part of this work, she routinely assists clients with the development of appropriate product labeling and marketing claims. Ms. Guihur has particular experience obtaining product registrations in the state of California.
Ms. Guihur is a skilled project manager, and has considerable experience developing regulatory strategies, coordinating with clients and regulatory authorities to successfully execute those strategies. She has worked as both a consultant and as a member of regulated industries, allowing Ms. Guihur to understand the various drivers and perspectives pertinent to obtaining registrations for fertilizer, (bio)pesticide, and related products.
Prior to joining Ä¢¹½tv, Anne-Laure worked as a Regulatory Product Manager at the AMVAC Chemical Corporation, where she focused on supporting AMVAC's biological portfolio (biopesticides, fertilizers and soil inoculants) for both the US and Canada. During her tenure, she worked on numerous biochemical and pesticide products, and supported these products throughout the development pipeline from data gap analysis to regulatory submission. She has specific experience working on soil inoculant submissions to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
Prior to moving to the US, Ms. Guihur worked in Europe at two consulting companies and provided regulatory support for plant protection products, biocides, and REACH. She was involved in data gap analysis for renewals of active substances used in plant protection products, in preparing physical-chemistry, analytical, and toxicology sections of product dossiers, and in REACH submissions. She assisted with study commissioning and monitoring and helped with human health risk assessment. She was the lead on Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) and assisted companies during the transition for active substances between the old directive and CLP.
Ms. Guihur background is in environmental analytical chemistry and she holds a Master of Science from the University College Dublin (Ireland) where she investigated the kinetics and mechanisms for the oxidation of a series of chlorinated compounds under atmospheric conditions.
