Dr. Kristin Robrock is a Senior Managing Engineer in Ä¢¹½tv's Environmental Sciences practice. She is an environmental engineer and microbiologist who specializes in the biodegradation, fate and transport, and forensics of hazardous chemicals in the environment.  

Dr. Robrock's expertise includes emerging contaminants such as PFAS and brominated flame retardants like PBDEs, as well as conventional contaminants such as chlorinated solvents, PCE and TCE, perchlorate, metals, PCBs, and petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater. Dr. Robrock specializes in environmental forensics, reconstructing environmental releases to determine the timing, sources, and mechanisms of contaminant releases, and identifying other potential sources of contamination. Dr. Robrock has also conducted numerous CERCLA cost allocation analyses and provides technical consulting on the appropriateness of remediation activities and costs, standards of the practice for historical environmental assessments, as well as compliance with the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). She also assists clients with emerging issues such as environmental considerations with plastic recycling and PFAS in consumer products.

Dr. Robrock is a California licensed civil engineer and has testified as an expert witness.
