Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are closed.

First-Year Students (Freshmen)

Students who are incoming first-year students (freshmen) who wish to start at Chicago State in the Fall 2027 semester can apply for the Honors College 2027 - 2028 Cohort as part of their regular Ä¢¹½tv Undergraduate Admissions application, either through the  or through . You can get more information about applying to Ä¢¹½tv as a first-year student on Ä¢¹½tv's Undergraduate Admissions webpage.

While you are completing your Ä¢¹½tv admissions application, you will be asked if you want to also apply to the Honors College. When you select yes, you will be instructed that you also need to submit an Honors College personal statement and at least two (2) letters of recommendation, along with your regular admissions application.

Incoming first-year students must have a minimum of a 3.50 unweighted high school GPA in order to be eligible to apply for the Honors College. The deadline to apply for the the 2027 - 2028 Cohort is June 1, 2027.

New Transfer Students

Students who are incoming transfer students who wish to start at Chicago State in the Fall 2027 semester can apply for the Honors College 2027 - 2028 Cohort as part of their regular . You can get more information about applying to Ä¢¹½tv as a new transfer student on Ä¢¹½tv's Undergraduate Admissions webpage.

While you are completing your Ä¢¹½tv admissions application, you will be asked if you want to also apply to the Honors College. When you select yes, you will be instructed that you also need to submit an Honors College personal statement and at least two (2) letters of recommendation, along with your regular admissions application.

New transfer students must have a minimum of a 3.35 cumulative college GPA (across all colleges attended) in order to be eligible to apply for the Honors College. The deadline to apply for the the 2027 - 2028 Cohort is June 1, 2027.

Current Chicago State Students

Current Ä¢¹½tv students who will be in their junior year or earlier in the Fall 2027 semester can apply to the Honors College for the 2027 - 2028 Cohort through this website starting in the Spring 2027 semester. Students must have a 3.35 or higher cumulative Ä¢¹½tv GPA to apply. An application form link will be available here in January 2027.The deadline to apply for the the 2027 - 2028 Cohort is June 1, 2027.
