Federal regulations require Ä¢¹½tv to apply Title IV federal financial
aid funds, including Federal Direct Loans, Direct PLUS Loans, Federal Pell Grants,
and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), toward allowable
institutional charges such as tuition, mandatory fees, and University-contracted room
and board.
Federal regulations require the University to obtain a student's authorization before applying Title IV funds to certain charges other than allowable institutional charges. These may include eligible miscellaneous charges, such as book voucher charges and other authorized student account charges.
Authorization also allows the University to apply Title IV funds toward eligible prior-year charges, up to a maximum of $200.

If you do not complete the Title IV Authorization, Ä¢¹½tv may be unable to apply your federal financial aid to certain charges on your student account. This may result in an outstanding balance that you are responsible for paying.

Students are encouraged to complete the Title IV Authorization promptly and review their student account after financial aid is applied to ensure that all charges have been satisfied.
How-to Complete Your Title IV Authorization Online
Students may revoke a previously provided Title IV authorization by submitting a written request to our department. Revocation applies to future transactions and is subject to applicable federal requirements and University processing timelines.
